WOW!!! This had such promise. But when it jumped from present to a VERY long and wordy past back to present, I found myself not only getting extremely annoyed with the portrayal of the characters, mousey, naive, immature etc.....But it was the writing, way too wordy. Example: so I went to the store which was a large building with sugar on the shelf to my right, a cashier at the front was ringing up a customer who had.....and it went on and on and on. I found myself flipping through and screaming..."get on with it"!!!! It was a lot of filler and no substance. While I realized it was the first story, I wanted to give the second story a shot but found that the writing was the same and I just gave up. The story had promise but I can't understand how an editor didn't look at this and go..."this needs more substance and less extensive filler. Oh and the intimate scenes were booooooring. Sorry. Go back to the drawing board and make the dragons HOT, brooding, dangerous, powerful and not boring and annoying along with the female. Make her less annoying also.Product details

Excellent books
I enjoyed the series and the variety of shifters. It was great that they all had a common thread and related to one another.
Loved these books. Very entertaining read. I read them all immediately and enjoyed the romance and happy ending. Books were steamy without being trashy.
I didn't think I would like this set. But it was a very good read.I wish there was more.
Always intrigued by shifters of any kind,I truly enjoyed this book! Hotness of the guys and love scenes just add another Starr to my review.
Many of these stories are written by my favorite authors. Anyone looking for an enjoyable time reading should read this collection.
I was pleasantly surprised by this set. Each book was just as exciting as the last where as in a lot of the multiple books sets I've purchased in the past always have one or two books that seem to fall flat compared to the others. I was sorry there were only four books in this set. In fact when I got to the last page of the last book I flipped it to the next page thinking I was going to be able to continue....lol...now that was the real let down!
